This publication takes an ironic look at the work of Carlos Pazos in a career spanning over thirty years. It is almost impossible to dissociate Pazos the artist from Pazos the collector of objects. His works are rich, self-referential microcosms that deconstruct notions of authorship, originality, culture, artwork and collecting.

While there are ideas about psychological and emotional developmental processes held within the sculptures I make, the things themselves are actual physical explorations into thinking, feeling, communicating and relating.
