As it does every year, the MACBA is joining in the celebration of Barcelona’s fiestas and on September 24th we are having an open house day, where you can visit our permanent exhibition A short century: MACBA Collection and the temporary exhibition Action. A provisional history of the 90s for free. We look forward to seeing you!

Also, from 6.15 pm until 7.45 pm, don’t miss the activation of Óscar Abril Ascaso Low-Tech Music No. 4 (piano piece for someone who doesn’t know how to play the piano), 1995, part of the exhibition Action. A provisional history of the 90s. The artist will perform this piece that can be played by anyone except by those who know how to play the piano.

We recommend you book your free admission ticket in advance, to enjoy #LaMercè20. You can choose your time slot and avoid queues the day of your visit.

Have a look at the frequently asked questions section if you have any questions, and check the measures we are applying to ensure hygiene and safety.
