The Metamorphosis. An animated shadow play MACBA Experience. Projection on the MACBA facade

This activity offers a re-reading of The Metamorphosis, one of Franz Kafka’s most famous short stories.The MACBA facade will become a “screen” for the projection of a 25 minute adaptation of the tale of young Gregor Samsa. The characters are shown through their shapes and their voices, in this work that is part of the From the Vaults series, a conceptual project that adapts famous novels to a different visual format, in the style of a theatre play. The works are performed by actors and recorded using audiovisual techniques that are developed in the studio in advance, and specifically designed for projection in public spaces.
