Vica Pacheco

Vica Pacheco was born in 1993 in Oaxaca, southern Mexico. She lives and works in Brussels. Before graduating from Villa Arson in France in 2017, she studied art at La Esmeralda in Mexico City. Her practice revolves around music and experimental composition, but she also maintains a plastics practice with ceramics and 3D animation. Above all, her work is eclectic and energetic, inspired by mythological crossbreeding, pre-Hispanic technologies and interactions between the human and the non-human, she is interested in arranging the most heterogeneous or hazardous elements between them to create sound performances and installations.
