Esther Grau

A clinical psychologist and psychotherapist by profession, Esther Grau is the daughter of the artist and innovator of contemporary textile art, Josep Grau-Garriga (Sant Cugat del Vallès, 1929 - Angers, France, 2011). In recent years, and after the death of her father, Esther Grau has combined her professional activity with the care and representation of the legacy of the artist’s work. She is president of the Associació Grau-Garriga and within this role she collaborates with the Sant Cugat City Council in programming and holding exhibitions at the Center Grau-Garriga d’Art Tèxtil Contemporani, where she recently curated the current exhibition Josep le monde et moi by Joël Andrianomearisoa.
