Let's talk about... A Short Century: MACBA Collection with Domènec, Antònia M. Perelló, Tania Safura Adam, Beatriz Leal Riesco, Teresa Grandas, Fernando López, Monica Hoff, Pablo Martínez, Nicolás Paris and Tanya Barson
The programme Let’s talk about generates discussions on the Museum’s exhibitions between the different agents and artists in the city and our regular public. It is a meeting point that regards exhibitions as powerful devices capable of activating the imagination and generators of discourses that often go beyond the preconceived readings of the institution or the curatorial team.
A Short Century: MACBA Collection is a display which offers a chronological path through the MACBA Collection from 1929 to the present. It includes many key works in a series of rooms devoted to emblematic moments or decades. Curated by the MACBA team, special attention is given to the changing presentations and experiences of art through these nine decades or ‘short century’.
