Agnès Agboton is a writer and storyteller. She holds a degree in Hispanic philology from the Faculty of Philology of the UB. Her extensive work is interested in the oral tradition cultures of Africa, gastronomy, legends and tales. She is the author of several books of which we highlight Canciones del poblado y el exilio (Songs of the village and exile), a poetic work written in her mother tongue, the “gun,” finalist of the XXX prize “Vila de Martorell” of Spanish poetry (Viena, Barcelona, 2006), and Voz de las dos orillas (Voice of the Two Shores) (Maremoto, Malaga, 2009).
