He studied History at the UNAM’s Faculty of Philosophy and Letters and did a postgraduate degree in Anthropological Sciences at UAM Iztapalapa. His research work has focused on landscape, the commercialization of culture and turistification. He won the UAM University Merit Medal and was included in a book published by the DEBATE publishing house. He was a curatorial assistant at Museo Kaluz, an associate curator of Hacer Noche Promised Land, and works in Mexico City as an independent curator. He was also a writer and coordinator of TVUNAM’s TV program Los 41 tropiezos de la heteronorma en México.
