LOOP Barcelona

LOOP is a platform dedicated to the study and promotion of the moving image. Founded in 2003, it has offered a curated selection of video-related contents from challenging perspectives to a specialised audience since its creation. While teaming up with an international community of artists, curators, gallerists, collectors and institution directors to develop projects aimed at exploring the capacities of video and film in today’s contemporary art discourses, each year it hosts LOOP Barcelona, a special meeting point that unfolds into three main sections: a commercial art fair solely dedicated to video art; a collaborative city festival, spreading throughout different venues in Barcelona; and a series of talks and professional meetings on the moving image art ecosystem.
