Culture as a weapon of struggle and a means of solidarity from below can be understood through the lens of the internationalism of the Tricontinental. Vijay Prashad will discuss internationalist cultural solidarity as a means of anti-fascist resistance and how, time and again, the struggle against the culture of decadence and for a culture of humanity allows for the transformation of collective into a force that affirms that 'the ocean is growing, and so are we'.

This event is presented as part of Song for Many Movements, an ephemeral experiment in which the ground floor of MACBA becomes a stage for encounters, conversations and shared listening. Curated by María Berríos and Sabel Gavaldon.
