The location of each book can be ascertained using radio-frequency technology. This means that the books no longer need to be in any fixed order on the shelves, but can be arranged by users associatively, and again and again. Over a 10-month period, Veronika Spierenburg compiled a personal inventory, consisting of almost 3000 pages from books.
