In 2013, Esther Ferrer revisited some of her most significant performances from the 1970s and performed them anew, some four decades later, under the same title she had used for her 1975 video "Acciones corporales". In them, the artist measures her naked body, moves through a room tracing her footsteps, making spontaneous sounds, and exploring the space with minimal gestures and movements. Reflecting on those early actions, she explained her approach in a 2021 interview at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao: “For millennia, the woman’s body has been used to channel all the ghosts, prejudices and desires—clear and not so clear—of men. That is, it has served as the support for a masculine discourse. At a certain moment, women artists like me decided that the body belongs to us, that our body is ours and that we can do what we want with it—and, of course, make it a vehicle for our artistic expression and, at times, for our feminist struggle.”
