Word, matter and gesture MACBA with the Family

This new MACBA with the family activity allows us to explore the boundaries of painting, guided mainly by the work of Antoni Tàpies.

We will see that painting has been transformed and is no longer a window, allowing experimentation with tools, textures and new materials. We also find that this can be a magic space, with multiple meanings and countless connections to the world around us. The working procedures of Tàpies will form the basis of a practical activity for children and adults, which will mark the end of the visit-workshop.
