Talking Galleries

How can we secure the future of commercial art galleries? How should we value art dealers? Is it possible to regularise the gallery system and make it more transparent? How can all sectors of the art system maintain a fluid relationship? These are some of the issues that will arise in the encounter between dealers and art professionals in the second edition of Talking Galleries, to be held in Barcelona on 11 and 12 November. With a format of case presentations and lectures, Talking Galleries reflects on a profession that is adapting to a reality marked by the economic crisis and a changing technological environment.
