Convent dels Àngels

Dating from the sixteenth century, the Convent dels Àngels is a beautiful example of Gothic architecture. The evolution of the building reflects its rich and intense history, its present aspect resulting from a respectful conversion. An integral part of Barcelona’s historical heritage, it comprises several spaces, some of which are among the best examples of Gothic architecture in the city.

SPACES À LA CARTE

Capella

A Gothic chapel with its own history, the Convent dels Àngels offers a trip to the past without losing sight of the present. In addition, a small Renaissance side chapel is available as a complementary space.

Forum

The Forum is a small Gothic nave notable for its vaulted ceiling and decorative mouldings. Intimate and elegant, it has the perfect dimensions for meetings, product presentations and press conferences that demand a more human scale. Offering a cosy yet upmarket atmosphere for small-format celebrations, the Forum can also serve as a complementary space to the Capella, as a place to welcome attendees, for photo shoots or simply for an aperitif before dinner.

Sala Gotica

The Sala Gotica offers a perfect combination of contrasts: the lightness of the glass windows, combined with the solidity of the vaulted ceiling and stone walls, creates a hybrid space that won’t fail to impress. In addition, it benefits from direct access to the Convent Terrace and has outside views.

Convent Terrace

Connected to the Sala Gran, the Terrace of the Convent dels Àngels is a space recovered from the past and designed with natural materials. An ideal place for a coffee, a working meal, an aperitif before dinner or simply to rest and have a great time.

Convent Auditorium

Located on the first floor of the old convent, and with views of Plaça dels Àngels and Plaça de les Caramelles, the Convent Auditorium is a complementary space suited to very different types of events.
