Screening of the documentary 'Fons Benet Rossell' Experience MACBA

The advantage of working in a contemporary art museum is that you get to deal directly with the artists. The conversations that occur become a firsthand document that brings us closer to the works from a perspective other than that of the curators or our individual perception.

Following this idea MACBA has produced an Archive of Audiovisual Documentation, a series of documentaries where artists represented in the MACBA Collection talk about their own work.

On this occasion we propose a screening of the episode 'Fons Benet Rossell' (Benet Rossell's Archive), seen here for the first time as a medium-length film. It is a survey of Benet Rossell's work based on various conversations and documentation that took place during the installation of his MACBA exhibition Paral·lel Benet Rossell.

The programme Experience MACBA invites you to discover the Museum and contemporary art in a different and surprising way.
