Son[i]a talks with Charles Esche, director of the Van Abbemuseum in Eindhoven, with a view to exploring Esche's model for the museum and any points of connection it may have with the MACBA. The concerns the Van Abbemuseum and the MACBA share are their peripheral nature and their interest in such ideas as the collection, the archive, peripheral art and networking.
