Free Entrance and Discount Admission

Students aged 18 to 25 who are studying within the State education system, students over 25 who are studying at undergraduate or postgraduate levels within the Catalan education system in one of the following specialities: Fine Arts, Art History, Conservation – Restoration, Audiovisual Communication, Cinema, Geography and History, Philosophy, Humanities, Architecture, Media Studies and International Relations.

Teachers with certification from the Government of Catalonia.

Journalists with a national or international press card (IPC) from the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) or who have contacted the MACBA Press Department in advance (press@macba.cat). Members and Friends of the entities that are part of the L’Internationale Federation, members of the Asembly Platform of Artists of Catalonia (PAAC), members of the International Council of Museums (ICOM), International Committee for Museums (CIMAM), International Association of Art Critics (AICA), Catalan Association of Art Critics (ACCA), Institute of Contemporary Art (IAC), Spanish Museologists Association (APME), Association of Catalan Art Galleries (GAC), Art Barcelona, Visual Artists in Rural Environments (AVER), Apropa Cultura, Friends of Catalan Museums and official tour guides.
