Desire
Desire makes us great. In 1959, art critic Alexandre Cirici championed the idea of creating a contemporary art museum in Barcelona. Together with Cesáreo Rodríguez-Aguilera and other figures from the cultural scene, he began to gather works for a future collection while they searched for a building and organised the first exhibits.
