Portraying a situation where so many human aspirations converge in this day and age, as the film evolves, the story links reality and fiction, facts and introspection, in a way that is as subtle as it is metaphorical. Meanwhile, a voiceover reads excerpts from Native American Chief Seattle's 1855 letter to the President of the United States in response to the latter's offer of a land purchase. Notions such as expectation, conviction, longing, rights, journey, border and origin are articulated with great poetic and political force.
