1972
This tactile poem is one of Muntadas’ early works. Although in later works the artist moved towards a social and semiotic analysis of the role of the media, in the early seventies he was more interested in the immediate body and sensory experience than in a conceptual approach. Using ‘poor’ elements such as glass, adhesive tape and cardboard, Muntadas created works based on the perception of different textures and tactile experimentation.
