He exhibited for the first time in 1982 for the exhibition "Une autre photographie" at the Maison des Arts in Créteil. Invited by many institutions in France and abroad, he participated in the 53rd Venice Biennale in 2009 with “Le Grand Soir”. In 2014-2015 he made two interventions under the Louvre pyramid and in the medieval ditches of the museum. In 2019, he was invited to present two in situ installations for the Garnier and Bastille Operas. During "Un été au Havre" in 2020, he took over the Saint-Joseph Church of the architect Auguste Perret with a work created specifically, "La Tendresse des Loups"."
