MACBA Consortium

According to its current statutes, the purpose of the MACBA Consortium is:

• 01
  To manage the MACBA as an institution dedicated to the acquisition, conservation, study, exhibition and educational interpretation of contemporary works of art with a particular focus on the work of Catalan artists or those connected with Catalonia.
• 02
  To create bibliographical and documentary holdings to facilitate the understanding and dissemination of contemporary art.
• 03
  To stimulate and promote all activities at the MACBA as a place to enjoy the various expressions of contemporary art in addition to being a place to train and educate people through art so as to develop their sense of critique.
