Susana Solano. Muecas. Dibuixos, escultures, fotografies, instal·lacions

Susana Solano’s unusual and completely unpragmatic objects and environments, imbued with the spirit of the everyday, and her forays into the fields of installation, photography and drawing in the nineties secured her a place on the international arena. The catalogue of the exhibition Susana Solano. Muecas is based on a personal rather than academic approach to the work of this Catalan sculptor. Personal, testimonial essays by Teresa Blanch, José Saramago, Pedro Zarraluki, Juan José Gómez Molina and Fernando Gómez Aguilera, three poems by Jacques Dupin and a text by the artist provide an insight into Solano’s artistic personality.
