MACBA. El museu pren forma. Memòria d'activitats 1995-1996 (any inaugural)

The history of Barcelona's Museum of Contemporary Art goes all the way back to 1959, when the art critic Alexandre Cirici Pellicer defended the idea that Barcelona needed a contemporary art museum, and these events culminated in the MACBA's inauguration in 1996.
This volume reviews all the history until 1996 with chronological reports, the state of the collection, acquisitions, exhibitions, activities, services, publications and economic and visitor statistics up to that time.
