Light Construction. Transparencia y ligereza en la arquitectura de los 90

Much of the architecture of the nineties explored the interplay between interior and environment. Through this ‘light’ architecture made of translucent materials and seemingly ethereal, diaphanous frames, buildings became intangible, weightless constructions with structures that disguised their heaviness. This catalogue includes thirty-three projects by acclaimed architects such as Jean Nouvel, Frank Ghery and Norman Foster who engage in games of seduction and poetry and prioritise visual contact through a diverse range of typologies, scales and technologies.
