Metzineres is the first non-profit cooperative dedicated to providing shelters exclusively for women, addressing the whole spectrum of harm reduction. With a holistic and tailored approach, the organisation responds to the needs of each individual with flexible solutions, taking immediate, direct action according to their requirements, fears, interests, questions and expectations. A daring and innovative model of intervention based on human rights and gender mainstreaming, underpinned by collective action, economies of solidarity which are proven, practical and cost-effective, and where every woman is empowered.
