Kodwo Eshun (1967) was born, lives and works in London. He studied English literature at University College, Oxford. His publications include essays for catalogues, reviews and articles for magazines, as well as films, videos and curatorial projects in relation to the concepts of ‘audiovisual archives’ and ‘archaeologies of futurity’. He has attended many international conferences and symposiums, and led several seminars and moderated debates. He is the author of More Brilliant Than The Sun: Adventures In Sonic Fiction (Quartet, 1998) and co-founder of The Otolith Group. He regularly contributes to Frieze, The Wire and Sight and Sound magazines.
