The programme consists of classroom sessions, workshops, research groups, presentations and personal research.

Dates for application, selection and enrolment

  • Registration and presentation of applications: From September 26 to October 14, 2022. Registration period extended until October 23, 2022.

  • Communication of definitive evaluation: From November 1 to 5, 2022
  • Notification of acceptance: From November 14 to 15, 2022

Languages

The classes will be taught in Spanish and English. Some of the seminars, workshops and lectures will be in English.

Aimed at

People from a range of educational and professional backgrounds and origins (artists, architects, historians, sociologists, anthropologists, activists, curators, psychologists and others) who share an interest in studying as a collective learning experience. The programme is open to people of all ages and there is no need for prior qualifications. Value will be placed on life, academic and professional experience that will contribute to the group as a whole.

Calendar

The academic structure is organized into three academic terms and a fourth term for the production and presentation of individual and collective projects.

  • First term: March 6 to June 30, 2023
  • Second term: September 20 to December 15, 2023
  • Third term: January 10 to March 31, 2024
  • Fourth term: April 1 to June 30, 2024

  • If such information is not provided, we will not be able to serve the user correctly.
  • To provide more efficient and personalised services, MACBA can break down and classify information on the users of its services. In no case will this be done exclusively through automated means. You may oppose this data processing at any time under the terms established in Article 21 of the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD).
  • The data provided will be preserved while the liability remains enforceable.
  • Users are entitled to exercise the rights of access to their personal data, its rectification or suppression, the limitation of its treatment, to oppose the proposed treatment, to expressly consent to the portability of such information and challenge any decision based solely on automated processing.
