First conference of-Secondary and High School
First working days for secondary school teachers
To start the new school year, we plan to hold a few initial working days aimed at secondary school teachers.
The purpose of this meeting is to present an overview of the various educational programmes for secondary school students, to show the new programmes for this year and to share the diversity of existing projects.
We want this to be a meeting place for the school community and to this end we invite all teachers who have developed a project during the past year to share their experience of working with contemporary art in general and the proposals of MACBA in particular.
Programme
WEDNESDAY 23 OCTOBER FROM 5 TO 8.30 pm
5 pm Presentation of the project The right hemisphere. Emotional journeys through the MACBA Collection. By the independent curator David Armengol and the artist Jordi Ferreiro, creators of the project.
6.30 pm Pause
7 pm Round table: The MACBA: a museum, multiple uses.
With the participation of:
- Lluís Vallvé, Secondary Education area of the Consorci d'Educació de Barcelona. Moderator.
- Octavi Aballí, Escola Frederic Mistral-Tècnic Eulàlia. He will talk about the experience with the high school students at the MACBA's Collection visit.
- Miquel Pescador, Escola Garbí Pere Vergés of Esplugas de Llobregat. He will talk about the experience with the high school students regarding to The secrets of conservation and restoration in contemporary art activity.
- Àngels Pradilla, Institut Joan Boscà. She will talk about the experience with the high school students regarding to the Photographic spaces at MACBA and the CCCB activity.
