Visitas para centros educativos

What do they consist of?

With its commitment to education, MACBA offers especially adapted visits for educational centres.

School groups may visit the temporary exhibitions or the permanent Collection accompanied by an artist-educator, or visit the Museum independently.

Programme

During Museum opening hours with prior reservation.

Duration

1.5 hours (with artist-educator).

Language

Catalan, Spanish and English.

Admission fee

  • With artist-educator: 80 € per group.
  • Independently: 40 € per group (children under 14 go free).
  • Teachers or those responsible for the group have free admission.

Registration

To facilitate access to the Museum, groups must book the day and time of the visit at least one week in advance.

MACBA will confirm the reservation with a letter to be presented at the time of the visit.

A group must have a minimum of 15 people. If a group has more than 20 people, it will be divided into more than one group to guarantee a comfortable visit to the exhibition galleries.

Accesibility

The visits for education centres aim to be accessible and to promote diversity as a way of learning, not an impediment. We have various material supports for pupils with disabilities (physical, visual, hearing, cognitive). However, if any of your pupils have specific needs, please contact us and we will evaluate the most suitable adaptations and supports for each particular case.

Consult here what resources are available for your visit to the Museum and its exhibitions.

Gold does not take on any dirt. And gold, just are diamonds, is an exalted material. It possesses such a degree of abstraction that it encounters you –if you use it artistically– on an already exalted level.
