What do they consist of? 

MACBA’s work is addressed to the public at large so that everyone can enjoy our spaces, activities and aesthetic experiences. 

To this end, we offer our visitors a series of accessibility supports and guided visits of the exhibitions.

Admission fees

Free entrance to the exhibitions (including a companion) on presentation of documentation establishing disability. 

Accessibility supports 

At the Museum reception, you will always find the accessibility supports you require. You may also book in advance the following supports: 

Hearing accessibility

Magnetic loops for hearing impaired people with hearing aids. 

Group visits with sign language interpreter to the exhibitions. Remember that you must request this service at least 72 hours in advance. 

Visual accessibility

Group visits or with personalised accompaniment for visually impaired people. Remember that you must book this service in advance. 

Descriptive locutions of key works in the Collection are available at MACBA App
Optical aids are also available.
 
We have a booklet with large characters and Braille containing detailed information about the Collection. 
Tactile reproductions of some of the exhibited works and tactile exploration of some original works if accompanied by Museum staff.

Cognitive accessibility

We offer visits for people with intellectual disabilities or needing help for understanding with sensory supports and interactive dynamics. We work with concepts and contents suitable for the public at large, but adapting the discourse and offering specific actions in response to the different needs of comprehension and learning. Remember that you must book this service in advance.
