On view in the current presentation of the MACBA Collection in the Capella are a number of classic works of international minimalism by Donald Judd, Dan Flavin, Robert Mangold, Daniel Buren and Larry Bello, which are articulated with those of Catalan artists Joaquim Llucià and Àngels Ribé, or the work of Josep Ponsatí, a reconstruction of the one the artist showed in Barcelona's Galería Maeght in 1979 and which forms part of the MACBA Collection.

Works like those of Hans Haacke, Richard Serra and Gordon Matta-Clark reveal the new lines of inquiry that minimalism opened up, while John Baldessari's video Baldessari Sings LeWitt forms an ironic counterpoint to the exhibition.
