The main objective of the educational project for children in early childhood and primary education is to place students at the center of the tour in order to convert them into protagonists at various moments of the tour's trajectory through the museum galleries. This promotes the students' active participation through observation, reflection, dialogue, experimentation, creation and evaluation.

As an essential component, the project includes didactic material to be used in the galleries. This material includes a box with objects and different artifacts that can be related to the works in the collection on various levels. The relation of the objects to the works is not, however, bidirectional; the associations that can be established are multiple and depend on the particular point of view of each student. The box likewise contains a series of elements that facilitate the diversity of points of view. This educational resource allows for introducing methodological variation with regard to the ages and interests of the students, also permitting the tour to develop in a flexible manner. The box elements change in relation to the exhibited works and, in fact, we might say that they change with each new view, as each group enriches and offers new meanings.
