Every year the museum offers a project for students in early childhood and primary education that departs from the MACBA Collection and certain temporary exhibitions that take place during the same school year. The project aims to stimulate children's contact with the artistic productions housed in the Museum in order to increase their interest in both artists and their work. With this project students will come to better understand the different modes of artistic expression and thereby develop critical and analytical thought concerning everything they see. Their visits will follow different itineraries through the museum depending on the students' age. During these tours the students will complete various practical exercises in which they will have the opportunity to participate and interact with their fellow students, their monitors and the works of art. Reflection and group dialogue will be encouraged.
