Arto Lindsay (b. 1953) was born in the United States, but grew up in Brazil during the Tropicalia movement in the sixties. From his works about architecture of the late seventies to his bossa nova albums from the nineties, Arto Lindsay has mixed rhythms from many different cultures and genders in a provocative and unique way.
