Stillness Performance & Video Installation

Stillness combines performance and video installation. It occupies the spaces, transforming and dilating them. Stillness is a journey into quietness and peace, and is capable of transforming the emotions of the audience.

Stillness, the new work by Mercedes Boronat, continues the line of research that characterised her previous productions: thinking of the body as a ‘place’ for transformation and as a path to the essence of each of us.

Stillness speaks of spiritual tranquillity, the need to live in peace, that is, the stability of the soul. Stillness accompanies the search for quietude and spiritual silence to bring out the true self that is within everyone.
