Screening of the documentary 'Fons Esther Ferrer' Experience MACBA

The advantage of working in a contemporary art museum is that you get to deal directly with the artists. The conversations that occur become a firsthand document that brings us closer to the works from a perspective other than that of the curators or our individual perception.

Following this idea MACBA has produced an Archive of Audiovisual Documentation, a series of documentaries where artists represented in the MACBA Collection talk about their own work.

On this occasion we propose a screening of the episode 'Fons Esther Ferrer', a look back over Esther Ferrer's artistic career, from her beginnings with the Zaj Group to reflections on the passing of time, touching on her working methods.

The programme Experience MACBA invites you to discover the Museum and contemporary art in a different and surprising way. Every Saturday until 21 h. you can experience a different type of museum visit with special activities such as dance, music, cinema and performances accompanied by a Moritz beer.
