Every Sunday morning at 11:00, children coming to the museum will be able to take part in our workshop based on the Robert Frank. Storrylines exhibition.

Robert Frank (Zurich, 1924), is a modern artist whose personal view of daily life revolutionised postwar photographic language and continuously questioned and reinvented the limits of image. This exhibition is a retrospective of the artist's work from the 1940s until the present day. The show covers the social observations of his earlier works, taken with a small-format camera, right up to his time as film-maker, his work on video and on Polaroid, his photomontages and his most recent work in digital photography.

Those participating in the workshop will be accompanied by a monitor. Using educational materials supplied at the beginning of the workshop, the children will work through the contents of the exhibition by way of observation, comparison, interpretation and narration of the images. The workshop ends with an exercise combining all they have seen, in which they produce a Polaroid or digital photograph.
