For the festival of Santa Eulàlia, the patron saint of Barcelona, we will hold an open house day from 10 am to 3 pm on Sunday 12 February.

You can visit all the current exhibitions free of charge. At 12 noon, after registering on the website, you can take part in the guided visit to the exhibition María Teresa Hincapié: If This Were a Beginning of Infinity, led by pli-é collective.

If you visit us from 10 am to 2 pm, you can also enjoy the performance by María José Arjona: En silencio pero juntos (Silent but together), with the collaboration of Camilo Acosta, Marta Begué, Mamadou Diallo, Nicolás Poggi, Glòria Ros, Mauricio Sierra and Iver Zapata.

From 10 am to 2:30 pm, on the ground floor of the Study and Documentation Centre, you can visit the reading and family space for the exhibition MACBA Collection: Prelude. Poetic intention. A place to be there, to relax, to share some time. A space for children to play, but also for reading, learning and relaxing. There you can explore publications about works and artists participating in the exhibition. You can come to read, dialogue, rest or spend time there.

We recommend that you reserve your free entry in advance to enjoy the day. You can select the time slot and avoid waiting on the day of the visit.

Enjoy this special day by visiting the MACBA!
