Night of the Museums Open House
Come and celebrate the Night of the Museums with us. We will be happy to welcome you from 4:00 pm to 01:00 am at the MACBA. You can visit all our exhibitions: MACBA Collection. Prelude. Poetic Intention, Josep Grau-Garriga. Dialogue of Light, Bouchra Khalili. Between Circles and Constellations and Corpus Infinitum.
At 6:00 pm, a guided tour to the MACBA Collection exhibition is being offered by the Avalancha collective. Please book this activity in advance.
And from 9:30 pm until midnight, you can enjoy live music by Ikram Bouloum and Pasaporteman in the museum Atrium. Jamsa — ⵜⴰⴼⵓⵙⵜ. Ikram Bouloum (live) + Pasaporteman (DJ set) is a constellation of sounds from the African diaspora in dialogue with the exhibition of the artist Bouchra Khalili.
Additionally, until 1 am, the MACBA Bar will offer a selection of signature cocktails. On 13 May the store and the MACBA Bar will be open until one in the morning. The other days it will open during its normal hours.
Additionally, from 13 to 21 May, at the MACBA Store Laie, the special sale of MACBA BOOKS that has become a tradition will take place, offering a selection of the MACBA’s books at the flat rate of €6.

Jamsa — ⵜⴰⴼⵓⵙⵜ
In Arabic, Jamsa (خمسة), or Tafust (ⵜⴰⴼⵓⵙⵜ) in Amazigh, refers to the Hand of Fatima: a symbol of protection and defence. Under this banner and to celebrate the Night of the Museums, Ikram Bouloum will perform her music in the Museum's Atrium — the heart of MACBA —, to be followed with a DJ set by Pasaporteman, one of the monikers of Baba Sy, co-founder of the Barcelona collective Jokkoo. A constellation of sounds from the African diaspora in dialogue with Bouchra Khalili’s exhibition, whose films and video installations weave together histories of postcolonial liberation and solidarity.
