Observing and exploring the museum building is a separate experience from the contemplation of the works on exhibition. In order to recover the dialogue between content and container, the tour Hybridisations: Art and Architecture sets out to investigate the DNA of the museum and to reflect on the importance of architecture in the exhibition project.
The tour highlights how artists constantly interact with the architecture, and the efforts of the architecture to suit the technical approaches of the most recent practices. The programme Experience MACBA invites you to discover the Museum and contemporary art in a different and surprising way. Every Saturday until 21 h. you can experience a different type of museum visit with special activities such as dance, music, cinema and performances.
While there are ideas about psychological and emotional developmental processes held within the sculptures I make, the things themselves are actual physical explorations into thinking, feeling, communicating and relating.
