Christmas Workshop

In 1968, Marcel Broodthaers invented a fictitious museum consisting of wooden boxes, index cards and postcards of miniature works. It was a fiction, a trick, through which the artist posed a question: "when the status of an artwork is found in a lie, can it be considered an artwork?" Taking this ironic reflection as a starting point, we will set out to construct a small imaginary museum using objects, words and a whole lot of imagination.

This activity is part of the MACBA for Families program.
