The MACBA educational programmes team offers an advisory service throughout the academic year. You can address questions and comments on the use or implementation of these projects to educacio [at] macba [dot] cat or by phoning 93 412 14 13. We also recommend that you check the educational section of our website regularly, as we will update it and add information linked to the exhibitions throughout the year.
Free daily guided tours
MACBA offers an ongoing programme of guided tours on weekdays and also at the weekends. Teachers can attend these tours free of charge in order to become familiar with the exhibitions before working on them with their students.
Presentations and training sessions
Both MACBA and the Catalan government's Educational Services / Pedagogic Resources Centres will organise presentations and training sessions relating throughout the school year. These will allow teachers to learn about the MACBA's educational projects and adapt them to the specific circumstances of each particular class and school. The aim of these presentations and training sessions is to introduce contemporary art as one of the tools available to students and teachers at schools.
Facilities and resources
The activities are aimed at teachers working at all educational levels.
