Although often associated with literature and film, fiction also has its place in contemporary art. More and more artists use it as a strategy to talk about reality. While well accustomed to associating fiction with a textual or visual narrative, art has managed to generate certain forms of fiction that distance themselves from the usual narrative resources, although these are sometimes used.

From science fiction to scientific fiction, to the notion of fake, fan-fiction, fan-art or the possible relationships between identity and fiction, F for Fiction is an exhibition project that explores the capacity of art at the moment of producing new forms of fiction and proposes a series of related activities.
