ESMUC adds a soundtrack to the Collection Concert. With composition students from ESMUC

For the first time, the ongoing collaboration between MACBA and the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) has involved the school’s music composition students. A process carried out over the last few months in close collaboration with the Museum's curatorial team has resulted in the creation of original compositions inspired by some of the works that form part of the exhibition The Immaterial Legacy. This critical selection of works from the MACBA Collection explores the political frameworks, the cultural clashes, and the moments of rupture that were the context in which artistic practices unfolded from the late seventies to the early nineties, always from the perspective of the lines of work that underpin the Museum's activities.
