Marc Vives and Martín Vitaliti will be in the MACBA Atrium from Monday to Friday, 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. On Saturday they will begin at 8:00 pm because it’s a special day and there are other Actions at the end of the month are also taking place. Each day will be different; they don’t know how to do the same thing twice. This will not be rehearsed. And they will endure a whole hour no matter what happens, with clear directives, with rigour, with constancy. At the end of the week they will have a record of covers. A cover version distances itself from the original, covers a fragment until losing the language of that original.

While there are ideas about psychological and emotional developmental processes held within the sculptures I make, the things themselves are actual physical explorations into thinking, feeling, communicating and relating.
