Diálogos entre arte y terapia by Eva Marxen is an account of the convergence between art, psychiatry and psychotherapy, in the context of a history of art therapy. It relates these with other disciplines that are considered of crucial importance for any serious 'psy' practice, one that goes beyond the banalisation the term 'art therapy' has often suffered. This is a practice that allows for beings to think about themselves beyond the restrictions imposed by the dominant modes of subjectivation and control. This is a practice that, to a large extent, has been developed in collaboration with MACBA over the last few years.
The book will be discussed by the author herself accompanied by Montserrat Rodríguez, psychoanalyst and member of the Comunidad de Catalunya de la Escuela Lacaniana de Psicoanálisis
