ASPEN has to be a kind of time capsule of a particular period, a point of view or a person.’ With this slogan and artists such as Marcel Duchamp, John Cage, Yoko Ono and the Velvet Underground, in the mid-sixties ASPEN magazine shook the field of design and publishing.

ASPEN can only be understood as the union of culture and play, and it radically changed the concept of the printed magazine. From that moment a magazine could be a portable box with unexpected materials, different formats and striking content.

We encourage you to create your own portable experience, starting from a number of proposals for collective action and a working process with a wide range of materials.
