Part of the Caprices, a project inspired by Niccolò Paganini’s 24 Capricci, is presented in the MACBA spaces. Composed of short pieces for solo violin, and with a choreography that is modular and malleable, Caprices premiered at the Grec 2013. One feature of this action is that is adaptable to different spaces and circumstances, making each performance a new whim.

The dance takes the structure of the Capricci as its script and reinterprets and multiplies the musical proposal with the spirit of making it visible, sculpting it with bodies and drawing it in space. It is an entertainment in which the game assumes a major role.

The full version of Caprices is to be presented at the Mercat de les Flors in late February.
